This log home was originally designed for a client and I liked the potential so much that I reworked the plan and soon after got to work on construction of the home.
Broad Axe Construction was formed soon after and a property purchase on beautiful Protection Island in the harbour of Nanaimo, British Columbia was made in the fall of 2008. Construction was finalized in the fall of 2009. Nothing beats a beautiful home fit into a perfect setting, and an island log home is just that!
